My best wishes to all students who received their PSLE results today! I am sure you studied hard for it, and rightly so, because the PSLE is an important exam. But PSLE is far from the only thing which counts. Our students must also develop good moral values, strong social skills, and a sense of duty to our families and nation. These are not in the PSLE syllabus, but they are important to a fulfilling and productive life.
I hope you do well in your studies, whichever school or stream you attend. Your schools and teachers will nurture you, and develop your talents. Our education system offers you many pathways and opportunities. Make the most of them. Study hard, but also make time to play and pursue your passions.
